The Library has an extensive collection of trade and telephone directories for the whole of the British Isles, the International Genealogical Index for the British Isles on both microfiche and CD-ROM and the 1881 census surname index. Useful CD-ROMS include Palmer's Index to the Times (1790-1905), and the Official Index to the Times (1906-1980). Copies of entries can be made. |
